For the last month the world has been brought to tears with the angelic voice of the unlikely star and global phenomenon, Susan Boyle. From the nearly time Susan Boyle stepped off the stage of Britain’s Got Talent, there have been numerous rumor circulating that Oprah’s people were trying to get Susan Boyle on the Oprah Show. Due to the demanding schedule of Britain’s Got Talent in addition to the travel time from Europe to Oprah Studios in America, the visit never happened. Well, Susan Boyle and Oprah fans don’t have to wait any longer. Oprah Winfrey has already met with Susan Boyle and toured her small home in Scotland. Oprah will be doing a special show where she will have Simon Cowell, a judge on American Idol and Britain’s Got Talent, in the studio while she talks to Susan Boyle live via satellite.
There have been rumors that Simon Cowell and Britain’s Got Talent have banned Susan Boyle from singing on Oprah shows because it gives her an edge over her competition on the talent show. It remains to be seen if this is true. Oprah is TV’s strongest force and if she wants Susan Boyle to sing, all may have to comply. Regardless, the show will be a very interesting one because we will continue to get insight into the life of Susan Boyle and how its dramatically changed in just a month when she went from a woman who hardly anyone knew (she has never been on a date or been kissed) to a global phenonemon that everyone (other than those living under a rock) knows.
