Larry King Interviews Susan Boyle

by admin on May 10, 2009

Larry King has Susan Boyle on his show via Satellite and is asked out on a date on the air by Piers Morgan, one of the judges of Britain’s Got Talent. Susan Boyle also sings her own rendition of Celine Dion’s song “My Heart Will Go On” live on the air without any musical backing. The performance was not nearly as breathtaking as the performance of “I Dream the Dream” that she performed on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ but Piers Morgan was quick to jump in about how difficult a song this is to sing. No is questioning whether this woman can sing because she’s already proven to Britain and now to the world that she has the vocal chops to sing with the best. Her biggest charm in addition to her amazing voice, is the fact that Susan Boyle is the underdog. She is what all of us root for in life because we’ve all felt like the underdog at some point in our lives and know how it feels to be on top (even if its for a brief period of time). Its the most rewarding feeling in the world.

It is important to have self-confidence, which comes from self-concept and self-esteem. Susan Boyle has lots of self-confidence despite of many of her disadvantages when compared to the other contestants. If her articulation is clearer, she could even be a better singer. We have a lot of things to learn from her. Her perseverance/determination has brought her success in her singing career. Thank you.
